Founded in 1959, Chandler Macleod is one of Australasia’s largest and most diverse HR outsourcing and recruitment companies focusing on the provision of outstanding assessment, selection, recruitment and retention solutions across the blue-collar, office support, health, graduate, technical, IT, professional and executive sectors. They also offer comprehensive consulting services.
Chandler Macleod is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange code CHD.
Chandler Macleod has a network of 70 offices around Australia and New Zealand across many different brands. They have a large number of consultants and support staff.
Chandler Macleod needed to ensure that all email campaigns distributed would be brand compliant. They also needed to ensure that internal IT staff would not be burdened with extra support issues and internal servers would not be stretched by internal email marketing campaigns.
Importantly they required an all inclusive retainer pricing option to ensure pricing predictability.
Solution
Melon Media implemented a corporate emarketing solution across all of Chandler Macleod’s offices.
Templates were designed and implemented together with Chandler Macleods’ marketing department with all branding elements “locked down”.
This allows support staff to very easily drop in text, choose their lists, and distribute their own campaigns all within a brand compliant look and feel.
The marketing department can view a snapshot at anytime of email marketing activity across all offices, and drill down into relevant accounts and campaigns where required.
Included in Chandler Macleods’ all inclusive retainer option are a suite of professional services - Chandler Macleod in effect having the equivalent of their own email marketing department - as well as access to a comprehensive high quality photo library.
Result
Chandler Macleod have been using Melon Media’s solution for several years.
Regular campaigns that are implemented by email include announcements, updates, internal newsletters, invitations, client newsletters, candidate newsletters and special promotions.
Results remain consistent and impressive with several business units relying on Melon Media’s systems and services for ongoing core communication and marketing campaigns.
The fixed retainer option has ensured that Chandler Macleod has the benefit of predictable pricing and their staff not having to concern themselves with pricing and quoting issues.

Flexirent have high volume email requirements as well as specialist complex campaign and survey requirements.
Implementation
Melon Media implemented a corporate solution across Flexirent Australia and New Zealand.
We work regularly with several different departments within Flexirent many of which have specialist requirements.
In particular we work closely with the retention group in creating and implementing specialist surveys.
We also work with the salary packaging group on high quality creative designs.
Result
Flexirent have access to a high volume email distribution system combined with specialist services.
This allows their marketing, retention and other divisions to focus on strategic outcomes whilst Melon Media provides all necessary tools and services.
