JOB OPENING: Junior Account Manager / Digital Producer
- Work with a friendly smart team
- Diverse role
- Great CBD location
Melon Media (http://www.melon.com.au) are searching for someone. Someone who is friendly, well presented, smart, willing and able. Someone who LOVES digital. Someone who can code HTML. Someone who can talk to clients. Someone who not just uses, but loves and understands the internet.
Someone like you to fill the role of a Junior Digital Producer slash Account Manager.
This is the job that will be the stepping stone of your career. You’re looking for a real digital agency, working on real projects with real clients and real problems.
This is a fantastic opportunity (a cliché – but it is) for someone with 1-2 years experience in the digital realm – or a super-smart and determined graduate – to get a huge amount of experience. I would even say a stupendous amount of experience.
Your attitude will be can-do. Or it will be can-learn if you don’t know how to do. This role will involve becoming a guru in our email marketing platform, creating and sending campaigns of behalf of our clients, assisting our web design and development team, providing technical support to clients, account management and coffee runs.
Just kidding about the coffee runs, most of us drink tea.
The successful candidate will receive support and mentoring from our experienced and talented team. So there will be some hand-holding to get you started. Just don’t get the wrong idea.
This role is NOT for someone who is ‘Just looking for a job’. It will be your commitment to excellence and your dedication to awesomeness that will see you flourish and grow.
Watch the video below to get a better understanding of who we are, what we do and what we’re looking for.
So if you think you have what it takes, or even if you’re not sure but are willing to put it all in, then let’s see your resume (AND cover letter, please)* explaining why you are superb.
If we like the cut of your jib we’ll give you a call. So go for it. Don’t be afraid. We’re a friendly bunch. We’ll tell you if we like you and we’ll tell you if you’re dreaming.
You’ve got nothing to lose except time and pride - and a lot to gain.
Requirements:
- Experience in a digital agency involved with marketing, design, web or you’ve just completed a relevant course
- Available full time
- Photoshop (intermediate)
- Dreamweaver (intermediate)
- HTML and CSS (intermediate)
- Communicates well
- Understand that there’s a place for Tables on the web apart from on eBay
- Desire and determination to be awesome
NOT A RECRUITER OR RECRUITMENT AGENCY.**
*Bolded because some of you obviously weren’t reading the full ad and therefore not sending me a cover letter. Silly billies.
**Note. If you are not a direct applicant and you call about this job, you will be heckled over the phone. It’s not that we don’t like you, it’s that we prefer to do it ourselves. Also, we’ve said (in capital letters no less) NO RECRUITERS. So that’s pretty clear.
P.S. If we call you up for an interview, DON’T BLOW IT! Be on time, dress appropriately and be well prepared. Honestly, you’d be surprised that poor presentation happens often enough that I have to make a note of it.
